BrazilSmart app for iPhone and iPad

As Brazil has one of the highest crime rates in the world, BrazilSmart protects the tourists going there by exposing all the scams they could be victims of during their stay. The app is powered by Scam Detector, the largest fraud prevention resource in the mobile world.

BrazilSmart exposes in detail over 150 fraudulent activities happening in Brazil, new scams being added every day. The app features face to face scams, airport and flight scams, accommodation scams, and transportation scams. Tourists can submit scams they witness or hear about and share them with the community. The content is in both English and Portuguese.

In addition to being the best street-smart guide for travelers, BrazilSmart educates the users about all the major cities, features over 600 attractions to visit in Brazil, as well as provides a dictionary of common phrases and information about the best restaurants and bars.

The app was launched before the soccer World Championship in 2014.
